how should I raise my snorlax?

I'm wondering, is there any good moveset for a Rest/sleep talker combo?
I've just got it hatched and it has Fissure and curse along with it. I'm not going to get a Curselax one, but a rest/sleep talker
what are two good moves to teach him?
and it's a Hardy nature one as well.

I think their really is no wrong move to teach a pokemon~ But, I'd probably wouldn't teach it a move which makes their defense raise ;)

Double-Edge is more prefered for this set, although I like Return myself. The second slot is based more on preference, of which I like Earthquake.

*to Synchronize* well, I'll think about that moveset. and besides, I'm not a big fan of moves that can do recoil damage and those with sideffects.

Well, if you need reassurance, remember that Snorlax has rest, so Double-Edge is still cool, especially with STAB.

If you really want a set like that then use:

Snorlax@Leftovers
-Curse/Double Edge
-Shadowball/EQ
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

You never did say if you wanted Curse.

RestTalk isn't as great on Snorlax as it could be on other things. it gets no boost from Guts like Heracross does.

yea, but it does alow it to recover and altho it's asleep, that's where sleep talk comes in.

Could try Ursaring too for BL, Swellow for UU but swellow isnt good with it as other pokes.

The recoverythen sleep talk isnt as good without the guts bonus :\

It works for things with guts because they make up for randomness with ***-huge attacks.

well, my sleeptalker snorlax now has strength and seismice toss. I think I'll trade those two away for Body slam and earthquake. and ether Leftovers or Silk scarf for it's helded items.

Definitely leftovers. Items like Silk Scarf and Miracle Seed aren't worth your time, unless you just don't have anything else to give to your pokemon.

Swellow I can understand being BL, but not Ursaring. If it had a higher defensive prowess, I'd feel better about it being BL.
