Here's a question, is EV training worth it? Does it make a really big difference?

and a less yoda-like answer: yes, it makes the difference between winning and losing

It's just another way of doing it.

He wasn't really being rude, to be honest. Just pointing it out. :\ And he was correct, too. What you're doing isn't EV training, it's just leveling up easily. EV training means battling only Pokémon that give out the EVs you are training in.
