How The Pokemon Anime will end

    I have this theory about how Pokemon will end, Ash will become a Pokemon Master in one of the many regions and after returning home, he will get a letter from his long lost dad (who is now the Pokemon Master of the World) and he will be invited to compete against hundreds of other trainers to have the chance to battle him for the title, Ash will meet up with all his old friends, even trainers who focus on contests will join (to give May and Dawn a reason to be there as well as Drew, Harley and other Rival contest battlers), Ash of course will get to the final and face of against Gary in a 6 v 6 match, however i was thinking of making it so that Gary won instead of Ash, and Gary would battle against Ash's dad, then it would skip ahead 20 years, Ash and Misty are married and living in Pallet town and there son is getting ready to pick his first pokemon from Gary (who is now the official Pallet Town Pokemon Professor) it also would give some incite into what happened to the other characters since they last met) and would end with there son walking out onto route 1 with Ash, Misty & Pikachu saying goodbye to him.

    Well i think thats how it will end, if it ever does , feel free to rate it i know it's not great, i have a good vision of it in my head but can't transfer it to text very well, also you can add your own ideas or give you theory of how it will end.
     
    I Agree with you except that I replace Misty with Dawn. And also, Ash should win but it should be a tie against his dad. And Gary will have nothing to do with this since he retired from Pokemon batlling. I'm sorry but you may have been living in a cave. Misty is the Cerulean Gym Leader. If Ash and Misty were to live together anyway, Misty would need a daughter to inherit the Gym(as the sisters are that care-free and "I take crap from no one unless it don't stink" Attitude). That will for sure be Tracey's daughter. Sorry but that theory was living in a cave and i took it out :^)
     
    I hope it never ends, I just hope it keeps going on and on :3

    But if it does, I would most indefinitely love to see Ash battle against his father.
     
    Your theory does make sense, but i don't know if all of it will be true. I think you're correct about the part about a big battle, but i think Ash would win if this anime is the end.

    I have to agree. Gray doesn't battle anyone, so that wouldn't make sense. And really, I just don't see the Pokeship working.
     
    Your theory make sense but how you know his dad isn't dead and why would Gary beat Ash if Ash is a Master?
     
    Well think about it Gary has retired from battling, BUT when he and Ash battled at the end of Battle Fronter Gary won, and i think he could beat him again reguardless.
     
    But Ash has gotten stronger, and will continue to get stronger. and if Gray doesn't battle... he will be out of practice. Therefor, it only makes sense that Ash would beat him.

    Yes but please think about it, Gary quit been an official trainer in the Johto Saga, Ash then traveled around Hoenn and the Kanto's Battle Frontier (which he won), then before leaving for Sinnoh Ash's Oldest Pokemon battled Gary's Newest Pokemon and lost to it, so he is still a great trainer and is most likely still training his pokemon while he is researching in Sinnoh (and any other regions he goes to).
     
    Meh. Other than what other people have mentioned, it seems reasonable, but I really wouldn't count on it happening like that, just because it's a random fanmade idea. It would make a good plotline for a fic, however, there's just as much of a chance that something completely different could happen. This is more like a plan for a fanmade episode/movie than an actual theory, as there is little if any concrete info to back it up. I would like to see Ash meet his dad, though. The question of who he is drives everyone insane.

    She has a point. Ash has worked harder and Gray could get out of practice. Ash did beat Gray once though.

    I would like to see Ash battle Giovanni, that would be cool.
     
    I would also like to say that the anime is aimed towards kids. In the end, they will have Ash win to show that hard work will pay off. And also, they would never have the main "hero" lose.
     
    I think it will end in a movie, which should definitely be in theaters.
    I think it should have every important character Ash has met in his journey.
    And of course, the mystery of his father should be revealed.

    I dunno about him marrying Misty though.. I don't think they will go that far.
     
    I'll post my opinion on what they could do. They could do what the first poster said could happen, except when they flash forward to the future, while they show Ash with a kid, the kid's mother is never shown or mentioned, meaning that it could be any girl out there. That way, we don't spoil all the different pairings out there.

    As much as I'd like to see him battle the Rockets, nah. The Rocket org have been ethereal this far into the series, why bother? Now, back in Johto, that would be different.

    I think he'll finally win a canon League, and the final moments will be him and the Elite Four. Or they could go for a Downer ending (losing to the Elite Four), for anything else (world blewed up, for example) wouldn't fit the series' optimistic paradigm.
     
    bueno/well the first theory sounds good but i doubt we'll see anyone getting married and plus i think the "hero" will always win in the end.
