My friend is making a GBA rom hack, but they don't know how to add custom soundfonts, such as the soundfont from Mystery Dungeon, into their game. If anyone could give a brief tutorial on how to do so, we would be appreciated.

This tutorial has everything you'll need to know about adding music, adding instruments, and just about anything else you could care to know about music in pokeemerald/pokefirered. Your friend will need to know everything up to and through the "How to Add a Voice" section to be able to add a new soundfont to the game. Make sure your friend is making their ROM hack using one of the decomp projects (namely pokeemerald or pokefirered), otherwise this information will not be helpful for them.
