[Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl] How to catch Pokemon with hidden abilities?

    Hi,

    I've been away from the Pokemon franchise so I've missed a lot.

    I would like to get a Dratini with hidden ability but I have a feeling there is no way to catch it.

    I know you can capture pokemon with hidden abilities via PokeRadar chaining (i.e. I have a Ralts just like that). Is this the only method in BDSP? (excluding Ramanas Park's legendaries).

    There is another method. Catch a Dratini in the underground; it'll have shed skin. Use an ability patch on the Dratini. Viola, it now has marvel scale permanently.

    Okay, so I'd better up my battle tower game... Pity ILCA didn't make it easier without it being such a grind...
     
    You can go to the trade forum in pokecommunity and see if anyone has an HA Dratini for trade.
