How to close Thread and then reopen later?

    I'm running a giveaway in trade center and when i get off i don't want people posting requests but only when im on the only way i could think of this is to close the thread for when im gone and then open it back up when i come back to it. How can I do this?
     
    PM a moderator if you really want a thread closed, but for the most part, you'll just have to live with people posting in your thread while you're away.
     
    Er, we'll close a thread for you, but we're not gonna close a thread for you and re-open it for every time you log on/off. You'll just have to deal with people posting in the thread.
     
    You can always set a rule saying "Don't request if I'm not logged in".
     
    Thanks for all the help guys and i've resorted to just asking people not to request unless im on
