Hello. I was wondering how I would go about initiating a countdown timer, like the one that is used in RPG Maker XP Natively. Because, Essentials doesn't seem to want to use the countdown timer, and that is a bit unfortunate. Because, there is a part in my game where it is kind of like the safari zone, but it is also like the Hunters Festival from Final Fantasy 9, where there is a timer counting down, while you have to reach an objective within the time limit. So, if anyone can tell me how I could go about doing this, it would be most appreciated :D

Doesn't a sample Safari Zone script come with Pokemon Essentials 13? I didn't play the Safari Zone in the demo, but I would assume that it has a timer event you could modify.

And given that berries operate on a timer, there's definitely gotta be some way to do it.

I'm talking like a VISIBLE countdown timer that appears in the upper right hand corner of the screen, like what comes with RMXP natively in the event options "set timer" And, I plan on using this whenever there is a situation in the game where you have to do something in a set amount of time.

The "Control Timer..." event command works exactly like this.
