3rd Gen how to get volt tackle for pichu (first thread)

Dude, I think everyone knows how to get VT, and it only works in Emerald, so this thread is in the wrong section too.

Ummm thanks dude but we already know this and it isn't allowed.

What do ya mean by not allowed??? The lady in the hills is a move tutor that can only teach your STARTER one of those moves once frenzy plant(Grass) pwr: 150 acc: 90 affect: charge next turn, blast burn (fire) pwr: 150 acc: 90 affect: charge next turn,
hydro cannon(water) pwr: 150 acc: 90 affect: charge next turn if you taught ANY above moves to you PKM your Pichu won't learn volt tackle(electric)

Errm, I don't get you... you get VT by breeding 2 Pikachus (the male holding Light Ball), and thats the only way. It's not a move tutor thing.

Yeah i did a quick bit of reasearch on Volt Tackle and to get it you must.

Ok you need a Pikachu M or F or A raichu M or F or A ditto. Now attach the light ball to Pikachu and go back later to the day care and your pichu will now have Volt Tackle.

Who Ever said you need a tutor is completly 100% wrong.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know how to do that.

no all wrong you must breed a pickachu male or female!! then if give a male pickachu the light ballto hold, it will breed out a male one with a female pichu, if you give the female pickachu light ball to hold then it will breed out a female pickachu. once ya have done that go to two island and the breed out pichu will learn volt tackle IF ya didn't teachu your starter one of those moves shown above. UNDERSTAND?? jeez

Uh you are banned but if you are you still looking.

The info that i gave you was off Serebii. Now Serebii has always provided me with true facts about Pokemon so i belive i am not Wrong.

See ya around.

You may think I'm dumb, but I've never even heard of volt tackle.

Volt Tackle on Pokemon Emerald

You can only get Volt Tackle on Pokemon Emerald and Pichu is the only one that can learn it. First get 2 pikachu's (or Raichus) (or a pikachu/raichu and a ditto) make sure one of them has a light ball. I think that the only way to get one is from a wild pikachu (but it is rare). once you do that, go to Mauville, then go on the route west (going towards verdanturf) and go into the daycare. put the pokemon in there and do some walking around and go back. If the man is outside the gate, get the egg from him. The trick to hatching it is to keep it in your party of six. I kept mine in the first position. When It hatches, check the attacks under its summary. You should see the move Volt Tackle. It does massive damage to opponent, but the user takes recoil damage. If you are still confused, PM Me. And the Move Tutor on Two Island only teaches moves to Charizard, Venusaur and Blastoise. It teaches "Blast Burn", "Frenzy Plant" (or "Solid Plant" if you have Venusaur on your Pokrmon Colosseum) and "Hydro Cannon" respectively. She doesn't teach Volt Tackle. Now if you make Pichu, Pikachu, or Raichu forget it, take it to the Move tutor Guy next to the battle tent in Fallarbor Town (must have a heart scale) and he can reteach it to Pichu, Pikachu, or Raichu.

The male Pikachu (or Raichu) needs to hold the Light Ball. And yep, Light Ball is hard to get... I got a box full of Pikachu's (from the Safari Zone in Emerald) and only 1 had a Light Ball.

I put a light ball on the female Pikachu and breed them and My Pichu knew Volt Tackle. So I think it can be put on either one for to have a pichu with a Volt Tackle
