[Scripting Question] How to have the pictures erase when a player loses to a trainer?

So for one trainer event, I added a few pictures in the event. I wanted to have the pictures disappear after he/she beats the trainer regardless of winning or losing. While it worked when the play beats the trainer, it doesn't disappear when the player lose.
How do I make the picture erase after the player loses the trainer battle?
