Yea if I can't think of a solution I will have to implement a level cap and give the player rare candy's. But how it is right now players level up through a bonfire (like darksouls) and they upgrade the bonfire with money. Once it's upgraded it'll level their entire party to level 22 (or whatever).
If I went with the rare candy thing then it would be a very different system.
If there was a script that did the rare candy effect on a particular pokemon WITHOUT giving the player a rare candy. Then that would actually be perfect.
