How to wall better

I have a Drapion with poison spikes and I was wanting a decent wall.
Shuckle I just got done with but haven't set decent moves for him. However, all these pokemon I have tried to wall with. Bronzong seem to be the best only cause he has so many resistances and one weakness. Meganium I wanted to ingrain and leech seed while it giga drains away, having synthesis to heal. Slowbro I just wanted to raise all his defense stats along with sp.atk and blow everyone away with hyper beam. Both MEganium and Slowbro seem to die to easy before they get the chance to set up. Whats a good way to set up? Other than Drapion who starts off for poison spikes, I also have a Swampert and a Primeape as my sweepers and a Lopunny to healing wish.

Substitute

Subsitute is an excellent move to help take hits. And with Synthesis, you can heal the HP loss that the move requires.

Surf/Psychic
Ice Beam

I don't like Hyper Beam because that wasted move recharging can hurt you. Use either Surf or Psychic for a STAB move, and Ice Beam to hit dragon-types. Alternatively, you can have Substitute to help set up and only one actual attack, either Surf or Psychic.

Zen Headbutt/Gyro Ball

Zen Headbutt is a better STAB than Psychic, seeing as your atk is higher than your spatk. Gyro ball can also be used, but steel isn't a very good very attacking type.

Bug Bite

Bug Bite is probably the best STAB Shuckle has. Other than that, looks nice.
