I have FL studio 10, but there are newer versions and it's not exactly a cheap program. It's pretty solid though.

yep fl studios is the way to go. Need a good setup for your pc though to run it smoothly, especially if you are running vsts/plugins that are demanding. You should be fine if you only use it for making music like the glitchxcity project you mentioned.
