HP Laptop Power Socket Broken/

The HP laptop Power socket broke, and I cannot charge it anymore. I checked every website for a solution, but they were very expensive.

any suggestions? ^_^

Check eBay for a Universal 17v Adapter.
We just had a nice one come out here in Aus, for about $99
