    Chug chug chug.
    [PokeCommunity.com] Hurr Hurr

I felt like breaking up the endless hordes of Pokemon sprites.

Акилина "Еза" Алкаев (Akilina "Eza" Alkaev)
    Female, Ukrainian, eleven years old.
She's clad in an old school uniform.
The weapon is an M60 if you want to make any comments/critique on that specifically.
© me. If you steal then imma fire mah lazor. >:0

More or less the only pixel image I've done (otherwise there definitely would be more than one image here). I encourage critique, not necessarily about this specifically but about techniques, since I want to improve at pixel art. Don't tell me not to use black for outlines though, that's my style and I'm keeping it.

Oh and in case you recognise something about the subject matter of the image, I am a fan of Gunslinger Girl.

She could use a bit more shading, but I guess it fits with the style. The shaping of the back foot (her right foot of course) doesnt seem right though. To tell you the truth, it looks like a goat's foot and ankle. I think more of the shoe's platform should be touching the ground; that would make it look awesome.

Yer... The angle is kinda hard though, I'm not great with shoes. xD

I feel I should indeed make the shading less subtle... but should I use multiple darker shades for that? ATM there's only one main colour and one shaded colour.

I would use two shades at least. Then I would use a darker color to AA the outlines... but I guess that's just because I'm too used to pokemon style spriting XD

That actually sounds like a good way to go. I'll take heed and stick a pic of her friend up... if I do one within a month. xD
