Is STeelix anygood, and if he is what is a good moveset for him

    Kingdra

    Tauros

these are some others I would like samples for and remember This is for G/S

steelix is very weak against water fire and ground...
let it learn earthquake, iron tail, strength, crunch

    Steelix- [atk + / sp.atk -] @ quick claw
    EV: hp, atk, def
    -explosion
    -earthquake
    -rock slide
    -roar

Standard Steelix that really got no other movesets, except fitting in counter somewhere possibly.

    Kingdra- [sp.atk + / atk -] @ lum berry
EV: hp, speed at least 197, sp.atk max
    -rain dance
    -hydro pump
    -ice beam
    -HP Grass

    Tauros- [speed + / sp.atk -] @ choice band
    EV: speed, atk
    -iron tail/hyperbeam**
    -double edge
    -earthquake
    -HP Physical

**note: only time you'll ever use either of these 2 moves pretty much... tauros is just a bit desperate for more physical attack moves. Iron tail is useless, but at least it's good against aerodactyl. Hyperbeam is good for a last minute suicide.

    Toxic is also commonly used.

    why have roar w/o toxic/spikes

to act as a pseudohazer, something you'll just absolutely cry for when you're up against something like Snorlax, and etc. In fact, most pseudohazers don't have spike or toxic (it's just the impression of Skarmory being the most common pseudohazers that's giving us this false image)

but against a snorlax, wont 1 Eq kill it anyways, esp from steelix's high attack and it gaining stab and all...

tats for wild pokemn like wild poliwhirl u'll sure to use roar or else u be deafted by it

More likely, 4 EQ can kill a Snorlax. You can't knock out 400+ hp that easiily. Don't forget curse, and Snorlax's own super huge movepool arsenal, or curse. Killing a Snorlax is never an easy task.

Try playing netbattle, as these are the signs that mean you've never really competitively played the Pokemon Metagame.
