    ~Intro~
Sandstorm teams are extremely fun to make. This one is fun in particular because it abuses the SpD boost Sandstorm gives to three of it's team members. The synergy of this team is to have Vaporeon send out Wishes to my main sweepers, while they completely destroy the opposition.

[PokeCommunity.com] I can't see the thread! (Sandstorm RMT)

    Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
    Hasty
    74 Att/184 SpA/252 Spe
    Crunch
    Earthquake
    Fire Blast
    Ice Beam

Comments: Scarftar functions as an excellent lead; taking out many of the OU's we see today. Infernapes that set up rocks firstly are 2HKO'd by EQ (assuming they carry sash) Bronzong, Jirachi, and Metagross do not like taking Fire Blast or Crunch, EQ also hurts the latter. Ice Beam OHKO's all 4 HP Garchomps, meaning Salamence doesn't have a chance.

    Gliscor @ Leftovers
    Adamant
    180 HP/50 Att/64 Def/216 Spe
    Swords Dance
    Ice Fang
    Earthquake
    Roost

Comments: Swords Dance Gliscor provides a reliable fighting resist along with a fearsome physical sweeper. After a Swords Dance, Garchomp will be taken down by Ice Fang, as well as Tyranitar by Earthquake. It still works well against Heracross, and can use it as a chance to set up on.

[PokeCommunity.com] I can't see the thread! (Sandstorm RMT)

    Rhyperior @ Choice Band
    Adamant
    252 HP/252 Att/6 SpD
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
    Megahorn
    Avalanche

Comments: With an Attack stat of 624, and the second strongest Stone Edge in the game (as well as strongest OU Earthquake) you know Rhyperior is an absolute monster. It's attacking stat is virtually unmatched in OU; surpassing it include on Regigigas, Rampardos, and Slaking.

[PokeCommunity.com] I can't see the thread! (Sandstorm RMT)

    Regirock @ Leftovers
    Careful
    252 HP/252 SpD/6 Def
    Rest
    Sleep Talk
    Stone Edge
    Earthquake

Comments: Regirock is a seriously underrated wall. With a mere 6 Def EV's, it can live a Guts activated Heracross's Close Combat, and only take 68% damage. In the Sandstorm, Starmie's LO Surf can only manage a paltry 3HKO (4HKO if there's no LO and if it's bulky Starmie) Not many can match Regirock's sheer bulkiness, as it functions quite well as a mixed wall.

[PokeCommunity.com] I can't see the thread! (Sandstorm RMT)

    Vaporeon @ Leftovers
    Bold
    164 HP/252 Def/94 SpD
    Surf
    Roar
    HP Electric
    Wish

Comments: Vaporeon functions as a Suicune, Gyarados, and Mixape counter. It also passes Wishes to my teammates, mainly Rhyperior. Roar makes a nice way to end BP chains, as well as a nifty tool to stop Suicune from Pressure stalling me.

    Heatran @ Choice Scarf
    Timid
    42 HP/252 SpA/216 Spe
    Fire Blast
    HP Ice
    Earth Power
    Stealth Rock/Explosion

Comments: Heatran functions as my revenge killer, and possibly Stealth Rock deployer. Unfortunately, it doesn't hurt Blissey, so I am considering Explosion for that epic Blissey kill.

Wait, why does it do more to Forry & Skar then it does to Suicune?

And also I don't think Infernapes will be sticking around after an EQ from TTar, remember that little thing called Sandstorm causes damage to Infernape. :P

Blegh, I'm guessing because of the HP.

EDIT: Suicide leads are basically there FOR SR. So if it gets off a SR, I don't think it'll mind dying.

EDIT2: Whoops, did the calcs wrong. 48.50% - 57.49% is the final result (from TB)

There are only three team members...or at least three that don't hurt my eyes to read about >_> In other words keep everything to the left lol

Anyways, you rely WAY too much on Vaporeon. If it goes down, you're pretty much losing against anything with a water attack and a little durability. 3 Choice users doesn't exactly help as you'll be giving the game's best sweepers free invites to switch in and massacre your team, which defensively is just really not very strong. You basically have to keep Vaporeon alive or you're going to lose in most cases. I get the whole "sacrifice and revenge kill" thing but you can even revenge the stuff you rely on Vaporeon to kill (like Kingdra).

On the other hand, if you're okay with that, this team is more than likely going to be fine. Still, it's very slow outside of your two choice scarfers (which hit about as hard as a beach ball) so that could be a problem. I just find it hard to get over all of these glaring weaknesses despite the two revenge killers...

Just my opinion. If you're asking me what I would do to fix it, it's definitely taking out Rhyperior. It just doesn't seem necessary and three choice item users is a little much.

Don't listen to Anti. He's been against Rhyperior from the start. And therefor, against America.

But I do agree, three choice users are a bit much.

I disagree with three choice users being much. I've been using three choice users for months, and it hasn't been difficult.

The point of this team is to TRY (notice I capitalize TRY) to make Rhyperior work. So he's definately staying. I could try a SubPunch set...Limits my Choice users.

I don't like the 4 earthquake weaks for some reason. I mean, Vappy and Gliscor cover it fine, and Regirock and Pherior won't be going down with just one, but still, it looks... awkward. xD

Looks good though, Dugtrio has the chance to mess you up though. 72% minimum damage if CB, 63% if Orbed (assuming its adamant 31/252) to rhyperior (Adamant 31 def/6, 31 HP/252). It should 1HKO heatran too, and CB is a guaranteed kill on T-tar.

    Watch out for status though.

It's not that choice users are difficult to use, it's that they restrict you and make life easier for opposing offensive teams, which is basically everything (Blissey being out of the top ten even when arguably the two biggest threats in the game are gone shows how much things have changed).

If you want to make Rhyperior useful, Subpunch is kind of "eh" considering EQ and Stone Edge provile good enough coverage. It's just really weighing you down.

The weaknesses just really beat you down...

Then the team must be altered to suit Rhyperior. I am tired of everyone avoiding Pokemon like the plauge, Vire included. I am glad to see him actually trying it out, rather than saying "oh, that pokemon just sux, no hope for him".

I think a team this slow could benifit from para support, or maybe even Toxic.
