    Ok if I teach a Grovyle substitute on Emerald and migrate it to my Pearl and breed it with a Ditto, will the egg have substitute?

    Q&A thread...but no, both the male and female have to know tutor moves, or so I've been told.
     
    Yep it would, TM moves are transferred from the parents as well ^^

    I'm pretty sure that's only for TMs and HMs, nothing more. I had a male sceptile w/ thunderpunch, bred it w/ a ditto, and my treekos didn't have Tpunch.

    Oh, if sub is a TM in D/P, then it should breed, but rewad the stickies lol. But we've answered your question, so yeah...
