Back on topic, however, I'm gonna have to go with Mura on this one. I don't know how a starmie.. or any other oddly.. shaped.. pokemon reproduces. Just as long as I get what I breeded for. =P

:O dont people listen!! ok i will say what i said before hand in more detail *hopes this is not to adult for the lil ones*what happens is ditto makes a unfertilized egg ditto then takes some dna from the other pokemon most likely via just touching the other pokemon (skin cell hair cell etc sticks to ditto) and is transfered into the egg and ta da a fertziled egg ^_^ but thte arder question is how do new dittos come about ? they dont breed nor duplicate themselfs (according anime, game, etc) unless i missed a episode showing them duplicating ?
