I know I'm dumb. How on earth do you get abilities to work though

    I expanded the tables, repointed them, and checked to make sure it worked. I compiled the ASM routine and inserted it in hex ed, but I can't find an explanation on how to make the routine 'happen' when it should, I hope that makes sense. Any help is appreciated.
