In the northwest corner of the region is the town of Fernbrook, where the professor's lab resides. Taking the road east leads to Elmwood Town, famous for its production of furniture.
Taking the road south and then west takes you to the Spiral Woods, where many Bug-Types live. West of the southern entrance of the woods leads to the small hot springs village of Lonne. South of the woods leads to Spire City, well known for its fishing and sea trade, the Gym here uses Water-Type Pokémon.
East Spire City Byroad contains a cycling road as well as an enclosure for a weekly Wild Pokémon-catching contest, going further east takes you to the Nalde Steppe, where you can also visit the Kihrik Great Forest and the Vesper Peaks.
Across the Steppe is the port city of Centy, the Gym here uses Flying-Type Pokémon. East of Centy will take the player to the secluded, Boreal town of Myles, known for its market and snowboarding. Taking the ship east across the ocean leads to the coastal village of Brimes, the Gym here uses Ice-Type Pokémon.
The Pokémon Day Care can be found at West Spire City Road, as well the passageway leading further south to Roea Town, the manufacturer of Poké Balls is located here, as well as the Fighting-Type Pokémon-using Gym.
Taking the route east leads to the capital city of Arundel, the Gym here uses Fire-Type Pokémon, and the Pokémon League is also located here.
South of Roea leads to the cavern town of Bohros, the Gym here uses Rock-Type Pokémon.
South of Arundel leads to the Ivory Wilds, where a large variety of wildlife reside. Northeast leads to the Battle Frontier, and west leads to New Aucester and Old Aucester. The Gym at New Aucester uses Grass-Type Pokémon. Taking the road west leads to the Safari Zone.
Southwest from the Wilds leads to the somewhat secluded village of Orchir, trainers who have completed the challenging trials of this place is said to reach "True Enlightenment" of Pokémon Trainer status.
Southeast of the Wilds takes you to Dawnvale City, where the Pokémon History Museum can be found.
Heading further east leads to Kingscrown City, the Gym here uses Dark-Type Pokémon.
At some point in the player's, an NPC would inform the player that the previously-destroyed city of ****** has been restored, the player can visit there and challenge the Gym that uses Ghost-Type Pokémon. Taking the badge to the league will reveal that the badge has long since been invalid since the city of ****** no longer exists. Revisiting the location will reveal that ****** is destroyed once more, and speaking to the locals will reveal that it was never "restored" nor were there any plans to.
Taking a flight via the airport can take the trainer to a neighbouring continent where Brightdale City is located, separated into its five districts. More information on this new location will come in the future.
Decided to play around using Tiled and made this over a few days. I wanted to create a "playable" region where the game world feels more like it exists in spite of you, as opposed to for you. Any feedback is appreciated!
