We HAVE to leave Mamoswine to Iceman3k...

but donphan I can do...next time, specify the generation please.

    I'll do a 4th gen version:

    Donphan @ Leftovers
    Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Atk / rest in def
    Impiah Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - EQ
    - Ice shard / stone Edge
    - Rest
    - Rpaid spin

win. Donphan is a great pokemon.

Would this be the moveset for mine as well? Also, do EV's reset upon evolution?

    This is my Mamoswine...

    Mamoswine@Leftovers
    EV's : 252 HP / 252 ATK
    Nature : Adamant
    Trait : Snow Cloak
    Moves :
    - Ice Shard
    - Swords Dance
    - Earthquake
    - Substitute

    It worked pretty well.

My donphan that I use, that you told me to get. Is that the moveset needed for the donphan that you told me to get?

Still confused. Basically, I gave you my favorite 4th gen set. I'd use it...

Okay. I had 3 sweepers two walls and I need donphan, does that help? I guess it's what I'll use.

Oh he went and said the M word didn't he
(and name, we both know Mamoswine can't learn Swords Dance lol)

Mamoswine @ Choice Band / Choice Scarf
Ability: Snow Cloak / Oblivious (doesn't matter much)
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) (CS) / Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) (CB)
    - Earthquake
    - Ice Fang
    - Stone Edge
    - Ice Shard
Your typical Choice Attacking Mamoswine. I personally like running with the Scarf myself.

Or if you're more of a surprise attacker, there's my Classic :horns: combo:

    Mamoswine @ Leftovers
    Ability: Snow Cloak
    EVs: 172 HP / 216 Atk / 40 Def / 80 SAtk
    Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
    - Earthquake
    - Ice Beam / Blizzard
    - Substitute
    - Rock Slide / Stone Edge
Ice Beam for combating those sonofa***** Physical Walls with the crap Sp. Defense (you know, Gliscor, Donphan, and the like ;)

    Then we have

    Mamoswine @ Leftovers
    Ability: Snow Cloak
    EVs: 252 HP / 40 Atk / 216 SDef
    Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Ice Shard
    - Curse
    - Rest
The Cursing variety. My least preferred since it's going to be forced to a switch. But with a few Curses, Ice Shard becomes nasty.

For the basic attack sets, you could run Salac Berry w/Endure since it resists BOTH Sandstorm and Hail, but that's a little too much of a sucker move and would leave you prone to Quick Attack / Ice Shard users.

    This is my Mamoswine...

    Mamoswine@Leftovers
    EV's : 252 HP / 252 ATK
    Nature : Adamant
    Trait : Snow Cloak
    Moves :
    - Ice Shard
    - Swords Dance
    - Earthquake
    - Substitute

Mamoswine doesn't learn Swords Dance... maybe you meant Curse.

You could try Avalanche and Ice Shard on the Curse set, with Earthquake of course. Avalanche instead of Rest, since it will probably lure special attackers that will easily kill him. After a Curse his speed will drop, and Avalanche become extremely strong with STAB + 120 BP + atk boost.

He doesn't learn Swords Dance O_O and I was about to train the Mamoswine, DAMN SCAMMERS!!

i only have 2 moves for sure that i want.

    Mamoswine@choice band
    Nature:?
    Ability:snow cloak
    Moves:
    -EQ
    -Ice Fang
    -?
    -?

But know im leaning towards curse and ice shard, but i like the idea of rock slide/stone edge.

    Donphan @ Leftovers
    Trait: Sturdy
    EVs: 252 HP /252 Def / 6 Atk
    Adamant Nature
    -Earthquake
    -Ice shard
    -Stealth Rock
    -Rapid Spin/Stone Edge

Donphan doesn't always have to be a Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin pokemon. You should just keep that in mind.

All true, but you must have Rollout. Donphan isnt complete without it.

All true, but you must have Rollout. Donphan isnt complete without it.

*SIGH*. Rollout is a horrible move. One of the worst. I'll explain:

Rollout takes 5 turns for its attacks. At that time, I can easily wipe it out FAR before it gets to the second turn. Rollout is one of the worst moves out there. Plus, it has a possibility of missing.

I'm saying this for your own benifit. Please, PLEASE stop giving advice until you get up to date with the current metagame. Everytime you give such terrible, amateur advice, you seem more & more noobish, & that equals much less respect. Like when you said Rapid Spin is a terrible move, despite how useful it is, simply because you didn't know Rapid Spin's secondary effect, which is common knowlege.

I'm not saying this to make fun of you, but to help you.

You really need to get up to date.

PS: To the both of you, just because you see Ash Ketchum's Donphan using Rollout, doesn't mean its a good move.

You see this? A true remark of a noob. I didnt even know Ash had a Donphan. Because I missed out on the whole Johnto series. So you have been watching the dubbed american version eh? Hmmm you are a noob. May be good at giving advice but really man.

Bite me.....Ill give as much advice as I want man. Its a free contry so back off.

You see, THIS is what I mean. I give you simple, constuctive critisism, & you flame me. That just shows how immature you are. I try to help you, because you give terrible advice, that makes no sense at all (& will get you flammed later when people comes online) but you take it as me making fun of you.

This shows how immature you are. All I do is try to help you, but no! Like a kid, you take it as an insult, which will get you a second warning later.

dude i agree bite me. its our opinion and we think rollout is a good move so go obliterate someone else's thread.

Cool. Another warning. Still, this is what I mean by noobs. I give ya advice, but you take it as me making fun of you. Pretty sad.

And if you give bad advice, you hurt the person you try to help. I'm not doing it for you, I'm doing it for them. All I did was explain very reasonably why it was bad. You could at least tell why they are good.

Oh, by the way, this isn't your thread I'm "obliterating". Its a friend of mine. Who I know will agree with me when he goes on.
