I need help with my EV Training

So I tried EV training a while ago with like a couple pokemon. When I battled my little brother that didn't have any EV trained pokemon, I was obliterated >.< I only beat him a couple times, but that was when I used my Non EV Trained Swampert

What am I doing wrong? What should a good EV trained pokemon look like? How can I fix this? :O

Did you keep track of the E.V Points?

Sometimes, you may need to record it on a piece of paper in a system like tally marks and save after 5 or 10 points.

4 points = 1+ in a perticular stat.
