3rd Gen I need help with unown!

    Well I need help to know about if happens something if you catch all unown or if when you catch all you are able to do something with them.
     
    No, nothing happens when you catch them all.
    It's just for collecting.
     
    Yep, unless you're a true unown lover ^^ I used to collect loads of them, but then realized it's just useless...
     
    Rumour has it that when you collect all the Unowns you can teleport back in time...
    But it's just a Rumour...It means Unown is just for pokedex and no Point in collecting it..
     
    You can't teleport back in time. Almost every rumor in Pokemon is false except for the truck by the SS Anne.
     
    Well, in D/P, you can use the Unknown to get seals of your poke'ball capsules. Like,

    A unown - A seal
    B unown - B seal
    C unown - C seal
    D unown - D seal
    E unown - E seal
    F unown - F seal
    G unown - G seal
    H unown - H seal
    I unown - I seal
    J unown - J seal
    K unown - K seal
    L unown - L seal
    M unown - L seal
    N unown - N seal
    O unown - O seal
    P unown - P seal
    Q unown - Q seal
    R unown - R seal
    S unown - S seal
    T unown - T seal
    U unown - u seal
    V unown - V seal
    W unown - W seal
    X unown - X seal
    Y unown - Y seal
    Z unown - Z seal
    ! unown - ! seal
    ? unown - ? seal

    But before you can get the seals, first you must go to the second floor of the ruins, and talk to the little boy so he leaves the ruins. Then, go to the closest house near the ruins, and talk to the mom to get the seal case. You must have the unknown in your party. Talk to the boy and he'll say "Wow! Your poke'mon looks like my seals!" and he'll give you 10 each of that Unown's seal.

    But, that's all there is. Unowns are useless after you collect the seals. But, I still like to look at them in my PC XD

    My friend told me a "cheat" when you get all the Unknown go to the shrine for celebi in Gold/silver and you can catch Celebi there. I have never tried it though
     
    The rumor of the truck by the SS Anne was false as well. That is, if you are referring to the rumor to get mew by that truck. I thought that was confirmed false a long time ago.

    As for unown, there used to be some sort of reward in G/S/C, I think. Maybe you could print them...

    Well I had a look around the Interweb; and found this Unown font for computers running Microsoft Windows.

    Unfortunately, this font does not have Unowns "!" and "?".

    I'd wonder...why does this boy HAVE unown seals?
     
    i don't know but in the old game they have an unown pokedex
     
    yea. in GSC, as soon as u caught like 5 unown they'd give u the unown dex and u could print them. I also heard a rumor about getting all 26 back when GSC came out. i heard that if you have a PC box w/ 20 of them and then put the other 6 in your party and go into the ruins, u'll find this 27th version of the unown which was über-awesome but yea, that didn't happen.

    in FrLg, I heard a rumor that if you get all 28 and then take a lv 49 poké to Rt 22 and use a max repel, u have a greater chance of finding ur legendary dog there. i'm in the process of busting that myth (mythbusters is teh cool!!!), but i can't freaking find the O and ! unown in my FireRed.

    as for PD, yea, nothing to add to what's been said :P
