I Need Some Rules Updates, I come from the old days of pokemon cards

I stopped playing after the first neo set came out and I know some rules are changed, i know a lot are changed, I just wanted to know if my old cards are still tourney legal and like if someone has a link to very exact rules, not the general ones found on go-pokemon.com with like an faq for wierd contradictions. I have a lot of questions but i figure it would be easier to give me a link to a very detailed rule page. One thing i'd like answered here is are metal and dark energys considered basic now, and do they still provide the old advantages, like 10 atk and def or not

EDIT oh and do pokebodies work on the bench? or just when active

The legal sets are DP-LA, POP6-POP8, DP Promos, and DP Starter Kit.Mainly, any DP card.

Dark & Metal special energies provide the effect, where as the basic energies do not.

Poke-Bodies work on the bench unless it needs to be active.
