    Okay, so I thought I'd try my luck at Poffin making.

    When I'm spinning it, it won't spin at all. It takes around ten seconds to even MOVE the batter around. Hence, I get terrible poffins.

    And it isn't my touch screen, because I got the notepad out and did it on there perfectly.

    What's wrong?
     
    Have you tried stirring with the stylus in a different place of the Poffin itself? I mean, it might not work as well if you stir it right on the outer rim, or the center. Try putting the stylus at a "medium" area of the poffin and starting to stir from that point.
     
    I have that same problem and frankly i just gave up making those infernal things.
     
    Or it's a badly calibrated touch screen.

    I've been doing that, but kept getting level 3's and such. But hey, I actually made some level 10's earlier.
     
    Poffin's are evil when you don't have people around you who play DP (really, they should have wi-fi Poffin making.)

    I find it hard spinning it with the default DS stylus. Can anyone recommend me a good third-party stylus which is actually easy to hold?

    the same thing happened 2 me!!! but i started spinning faster that the batter spilled and my problem was solved!!! i now make 10-17 levels!! don't worry, i wasn't that good either! you will get use 2 it!!
     
    Okay, now I'm spinning fast, and I'm getting decent enough Poffins. Thanks guys. :]

    Oh, and what's the highest level poffin you can get?
     
    I'm not sure about the highest level Poffin- I haven't made above level 22 yet. I hate having to spin right- nintendo is very right-hand neglectful- if that makes sense.
     
    now i actually believe people are competing in super contests XD

    anyways, the first time i learned how to do it, i quit.. the 1st time i made poffins was my last
     
    Aside from all the spammers, I might have something that might actually help.

    Don't push too hard on the touch screen. I messed up my last DS by doing that ¬¬. Another thing, as wakachamo said, the middle is best not only cause it's easy to stir that way, but because when you have to go fast, it won't hurt as much.
