Here is where you can discuss Pokémon cheerleading and additional mix-ups in "I Politoed Ya So!"

    My review to come forthwith.

    Sorry; I just forgot. Headdesk.

Wow, all that I actually remmeber about this episodes was: it's boring! Something about Politoad...not the evolution one? Just a filler, I think.

Su. It wasn't much of an episode but I think I said this before but I think it would have been best if Misty's Poliwhirl had stay as is and just use this episode to introduce Politoad. That way it didn't seem like they were just evolving Poliwhirl for the sake of showing Politoad.

Su, still it kinda made me think that Misty would have traded her Politoad for that girl's politoad to make both pokemon happy since one politoad wanted to battle while the other liked to cheer. Su. Still it was kinda not that great of an episode.

Su? Is it just me or every episode that Politoad appeared in was kinda not really coolies and lame. Su. Teeheehee Still I always thought Politoad was kinda lame of a pokemon when you compare it to Poliwraft. Teeheehee

Actually, the trade would have made sense, but sentimental attachment on Misty's part negated that. Heh. Curse you, logic. And, true, but Poliwrath's episodes weren't the best, either. The best one was the Charizard OI one, where it froze the big bad lizard. Then came Johto, and the appearance was less than inspiring ("Hook, Line and Stinker" just sucked by comparison).

The only part of the episode that was interesting (to me) was the Boss Fantasy, where the Rockets cheer Giovanni's name. To my knowledge, that was the first time his name was mentioned in-series by his most prominent subordinates (not counting the scientists in the first movie and Domino in Mewtwo Returns). They've always called him, "Boss." Of course, in AG, they've become more lapse with it, but this is where his mystery image was truly pronounced dead (although, Mewtwo had much to do with it).

    Silly dramatic irony. Heh.

Su I was thinking that but it made sense that Misty wouldn't trade it which I guess was a good thing since it shows the writers do put some thought into what they do.

Still su. It wasn't that much of an intresting episode. Two politoads are kinda just not that great. Teeheehee I guess I just saying I don't find politoad that intresting and was kinda sad that it did evolve into one. Still makes you think. Was the writer's only intention for Misty to catch a Poliwag back in Orange Islands was for it to evolve into Politoad so they can give Politoad an anime appearence? Su.

Who knows, but it wouldn't surprise me. If she wasn't a Water Trainer, they would have showcased the Pokemon with the character-of-the-day, anyway. Given the randomness of its evolution, I think they just wrote it on the fly, and "we have the King's Rock? Let's roll with it!"

Until production notes are released, or translated to English, like other shows. But, I'll say you're probably right.

Su still it was confusing. I mean the evolution was just random over all. I would love to see the notes of the writers if they even show them to see the reason why they even evolve him but I guess that may never happen. Su.
