I want my Mew! >:(

In which games can you capture the Pokémon Mew, I've played Pokémon FireRed, Emerald, Diamond, Platinum, HeartGold, Black/2 and now X and there hasn't been a Mew to catch anywhere, I know that sometimes for a limited time, you can get them through Mystery Gift but I always miss them, why can't Game Freak allow us to capture one in-game rather through special events.;-;

Unfortunately, as one of the rarer Legendary Pokemon (much like Celebi, Jirachi, Shaymin, Meloetta and Victini), the only legal way to get Mew are through Nintendo events. Hopefully with the improved internet capabilities over the past few years we'll get more event Pokemon like Mew, but until then, it looks like you'll have to wait until then if you want a legit Mew.
