    Hello there, my readers.

I've hit a slump in fresh new games, and I wanted to know some of your favourites and/or good games that you know of. I'd like to know what you liked about them, or why you might like them, if they haven't released yet.

Thank you for reading and replying.

You're probably asking about video games, but I'm just gonna pretend you asked about any kind of game.

Anyway, I like some of the classic board games like Monopoly, but I really like the card and trivia games out there. Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity, Cranium, and just those kinds of games where there is more laughter and less pieces on a board moving around. Those are the kinds of games where you can get people who don't really know each other to get to know each other and pretty much anyone can play them so they're good for any occasion. Okay, well, maybe CAH isn't good for every occasion.

The game "Game Dev Tycoon" is alright if you're into simulation type games. You start as a lone game developer that makes games in his/her computer room back in the 80s. You choose what perks you want in your game, and have to strike the right balance for a certain genre (most of the balance tips are on the game's wiki page). Making the right balance gets you better review scores (you compete with yourself on review scores, so you should only very slightly improve each time you make a game). Over time, you get more choices to put in your game, more platforms (based on real systems) and can develop your own engines. Also, It's only $8 or $9 to buy.
I'd check out some youtube videos though beforehand.
