Hi, just as the title states, I want to place myself into a pokemon game, preferably pokemon black.
Here's the concept; I want to place a character with a sprite that looks like me into a random spot in pokemon black (or other game if it's not possible).
Why pokemon black? I want to use the same animation that N uses, or, if it's possible create our own animation for my character. Example of what I mean; https://giphy.com/gifs/NYUSYcEJvZlyZ5VdbP
I want to choose my own favorite pokemon as their pokemon loadout --- and choose their own moveset if possible and I want to create a very small plot.
Now, I want this to be a cooperative thing. I'll pay for help and we both work on it. Or, you just record yourself making this. Would I/you have to create the entire game from scratch and then design and place my character into the game? Or could I use an already existing copy of the game like Pokemon black and just place the character into a place of choosing.
Are I/you able to do this? Is there an example I can use for proof of concept? Would the animation be possible and/or a custom animation? Is a custom character with custom sprite possible? And if so, is it possible to do this with Pokemon black version, or would we have to use a different version of Pokemon? For the sprite, is it possible to have both post-battle and battle sprites look like me?
Again, is any of this possible?
I will do my best to make your help worth your time, or are there already tutorials on this that can point me in the right direction?
I've seen YouTube videos on ROM hacking tutorials, but none of what I see are showing me how I can implement my own custom sprite character into the game.
I can do Paypal or you can preferrably create your own job listing on Fiverr.
