Ice Gym?

I am going to try out for the ice gym leader in Platinum but should I train first? I hatched an eevee then evolved it shortly after so thats why it's not as leveled up as the others.

Staraptor: Lvl 58 Fly, Aerial Ace, Wing Attack and Brave Bird
Chatot: Lvl 30 Fly, Chatter, Steel Wing and Roost
Graveler: Lvl 35 Selfdestruct, Rock Smash, Rock Blast and Earthquake
Graveler: Lvl 31 Magnitude, Selfdestruct, Strenght and rock blast
Quagsire: Lvl 30 Surf, Slam, Yawn and Amnesia
Glaceon: Lvl 13 Hail, Sand-Attack, Tackle and Helping Hand

For the Ice Gym, eh? Replace the Glaceon completely, it isn't going to help at that level, and what's your starter?

Ok ;) Will do and my starter is Chimchar who is now Monferno. Hes not in my party because he is at a small level.

It's ok, I dont have a Wi-Fi thingy. I will try and level up my Monferno ;)

Aww, that's disappointing...Well, evolve the Monferno, and get it to at least level 55. Then you can eat the fire and use Flamethrower yourself!

But really, get it above 50.

Good, good. Are you anywhere near somewhere you can get a Ponyta? I take it you mean Snowpoint City? Hmm, in that case you are quite far away from them...if only you had Wi-Fi I could give you my Infernape and Magmortar, but NOT Typhlosion.

Yeah I wish i had it too. But i'm training my Moferno right now

Good, the Fire-Fighting dual type will make it very good against the Ice Gym.

Level 55? Why LOL? Level 40 will do it, Close Combat and Flame Wheel are all you need.

Mach punch helps to. Candice isn't that hard to defeat. Staraptor can even do the job.

I agree with dragonomega. There's no need for level 55. Heck, Infernape could beat Candice at level 35. -_- Level 50 is for, like, Volkner and the E4.
However, I can kind of see some trouble heading your way in the form of Froslass. It outruns Infernape and might be able to get a KO on Infernape with Shadow Ball if you've taken some damage from hail. Staraptor can't do anything to it, so... Just be aware.

I recomend flying somewhere to get a ponyta, that frosslass will eat you.

Froslass isn't that strong u.u I managed to defeat it with my Level 41 Infernape, no need going to catch a Ponyta when she can just train the all ready in training Monferno.
