Idea for future games, tell me what you think!

Does anybody think it would be kinda cool to deviate from the traditional water-fire-grass starters? Such as having Ghost, Psychic, and Dark as the starting types? I think it would be cool to try it but idk how it would play out. Or having Dragon, Steel, and Ground? Tell me your opinion please!

To make it the 'each is weak/strong against another' it would have to be something like Psychic/Fighting/Dark. Unless of course you just mean switch up the 3 types in general, that actually would be nice to see at least once.

I wrote out a future game concept for pokemon 6th gen.
In my idea I kept the starters basic (Water, Grass, and Fire) but then at their final evolution changed them up. I made them in their final forms, Grass/Psychic, Fire/Dark, and Water/Fight.
This way there's some new variety in the type set ups, but throughout the majority of the game they stay true to their original type set up, and when they hit their final evolutions they still have the same set up of each type neutralizing the other type.

There's a gen VI speculation thread, which essentially covers this, seeing that the future in Pokemon gaming will be gen VI.
