Idea for the forum!

Hey Pokécommunity, I thought up two good ideas!

• Pokédollars, each post you do you get one Pokédollar; each topic you create you get 2 Pokédollars. What can you do with Pokédollars? If you get a sprite made or a banner from the art discussion thread they can settle a price of Pokédollars! With Pokédollars you can show off your richness!?
• For idea two, rewards! To show off what you've done for the forums!

Sounds like it'll make a load of spam tbh. It works fine as it is now. And what use are Pokédollars to the artists?

Adding to Razor: While those ideas seem nice and all, I don't really think they'll work here. :( For example, with my post count I have over a million dollars in essence and I could get everything for free - when really the current graphic/sprite requests are for free (and aren't that active iirc), so it's kind of counterproductive if it has no real value. Plus as Razor said, people can kinda spam posts to get a high amount and that isn't really what we want to encourage.

No reason for an apology bro :) It's just that money plugins have been out there for a long time, and PC hasn't used any because of the consequences. PC's too big a community to tame such a system. I mean, smaller communities can have such a system to increase activity, which is something we already have. As has been said, it would only cause spam.

More to that, since the activity is so high over here, there are only two ways that could go:

• The administration get cheap about things, and you only get so many dollars for every post, whilst items would be expensive.
• Or The administration get all generous and stuff, and people start buying so many privileges that things get too unnecessarily creative and colorful for anyone's taste. In turn, we'd try to get organized and professional, and the system would just be deactivated, probably within less than a month.

Also, with a money system, everything would become a product. All the graphical goody goods and free favors and what not, would become shops. We would turn into a dA, where everything would have to be commissioned. It's not too suitable for a place that praises itself for the giving and helpful members it has ;)

PC just isn't the place for a money system... :)

Thanks for your feedback people, I'll think before posting in future! I would love to give away free sprites and banners, but I can't share image link's from Tinypic.com as I have under 15 posts and it's the rules of advertisement!
