    How would you the players feel if Black and White, or for that matter any new Pokemon game had a narrative?

    Meaning your character speaks, and the generic plotline is a little more in depth. Your Pokemon have thoughts your character remarks on etc. Sure it sounds a little unRPG-like at the moment but you can choose what your Pokemon act like to a T, same with responses by your character etc.
     
    The games already have a narrative. The aspects you listed do not have to be present in order for the games to have a narrative. I suppose you mean, as you stated, how would we feel if the narrative that was already present had more depth?

    Something like that. Essentially I mean if the game had a bit more depth to the features that it includes

    I hardly see that as necessary lol. Sure, it wasn't explained perfectly in the first post (Well, a small mistake in detail) but the general idea was pretty clear.

    Anyway, I think I'd like it for a few days or something and then just get sick of it. I enjoy reading stories and what not. When I watch anime, I prefer subtitles to dubs because of the reading (The voices to a lesser extent...) I find it relaxing. I'd probably find it the same in the games, can't say for sure but yeah.
     
    Pokémon with plot...I can't say that's a bad idea, but there has to be a reason the most famous or "best" Pokémon ROM Hacks around all have the basic storylines. Quartz, Naranja, Brown, Prism, rijonAdventures, Genesis...
     
    I love a silent protagonist, and it could go a little more depthy so it can be a bit different from the other games. XD
