Hello everyone.
My name is Matt. I'm a journalist from the UK and I'm going to be launching a personal blog for which I will be getting to know all the different little communities and subcultures on the web.
I really want to get chatting to some breeders - I know the franchise pretty well and, although I have two degrees to my name, the complexity and mathematics of breeding make my head spin.
The goal is to help outsiders or newcomers to understand what it is about breeding that brings people together and what kind of social atmosphere it creates - also, as with any community, it's about dispelling some myths and pre-judgements other people may have.
If you're a breeder and you have a second to explain to me what breeding and the breeding community represents to you, then I'd love to hear about it.
