Im a Pokemon TCG noob here, and i have a simple question

If i want to use my Machamp, can i use it? Do i have to first put down my Machop and then let it evolve?
Like how does that all work?

If you want to play an evolved pokemon, you have to play its base evolution first.

However certain cards you'll be able to play directly.

As I said in the Questions thread, you will have to play Machop, then evolve it to Machoke, then Machamp. It'll take two turns to fully evolve from Machop into Machamp, but some cards like EX's you don't need to evolve even though they are the 3rd Evolution. Mega cards you need to take a turn to evolve though.
