I'm having some trouble

    Ok I decided to start Ev training my Pokemon. So I got a Riolu egg from the Daycare Center and took it to Route 201 to start.(My Guide book said that Starly there=speed Bidoof=HP) So I start to battle and it isn't working. Then in my book it said Golbat in Victory Road inceases speed aswell. So I go there and give Riolu the EXP share and battle a Golbat and Riolu level Raises al the way to 10 and still nothing!:disappoin Is there something I'm doing wrong? As can someone give a list for EV training?
     
    What do you mean by 'nothing happens'? Are you expecting confetti to fall every time you gain an EV?

    Yes it is. You won't see the results until far later levels. My latios gained 9 in speed at a high level...but yeah, you're gonnahave to wait a little.
     
    Yeah, EVs take a long time to really have notable effects- especially if you're training at level 1. You may not see the effects of the EVs right away, but you'll definitely see it when that Lucario is level 100.
