Like how I was informed today that this is my last day at the store I work at. I'm not being fired, I had asked for a transfer a couple weeks ago to a store closer to home. Last I heard, it was accepted. But I guess today is my last day in the store, then I'm not working all week until Saturday when I'm going to North Carolina.

Then when we're back, I'm started in the new store. Fine, cool, that's great and all but um... I kind of have rent to pay? I can't take off all that time from work while I'm in town, especially because we're going to be gone for almost a week.

Jerks. I guess I'll eat ramen with frozen veggies all month. Again.

Why would you take off all the time in the first place? I don't understand why people do that at my work either. I have worked at my job for 8 months and probably took of 4-5 days (one I didn't have much of a choice, since I had two finals and a dentist appointment.) You could always board up with other people, I don't understand how your rent costs change upon transfer? It would seem you would still be strapped for cash regardless of what location you worked at unless you lived with your parents.

    ...No, you misunderstand.

Ill be in north carolina for a week and I live in florida. Kinda hard to make it to work every day that way. And my rent wont go up, bu Ill be out of work for a week because of vacation. So i wont get paid as much as Id like.

My point was that they started my vacation a few days earlier than I asked off, so I could be working right now to get a little bit more money to make up for how long Ill be gone.

Basically, family reunion. Need 5 or 6 days off. They starte my vacation too early. Less money for rent. Buh.
