I hadn't thought of this, but it makes complete sense if you want to have more balance in the game, especially with all the groupings/pairings that come early in the game like Sawk/Throh, Venipede/Sewaddle, and the monkey trio.

Sawsbuck already is a branched evolution.

Well I was shocked that Luvdisc does not evolve into ALOMOMOLA and that Tauros does not evolve into BOUFFALANT
On that note, too, how do you feel about the fact that a pretty large portion of Unova Pokemon do have evolutionary lines?
Well it's a good thing, It's always has been like that in the generations before hand, so it would only make sense if they continue to do that in Generation Five
As for the current evolutions, could you swap any with others as far as evolutions go?
No, I just feel that Luvdisc should evolve into Alomomola and Tauros should evolve into Bouffalant

With Throh and Sawk imitating how Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan were originally laid out, I wouldn't be surprised if it got a pre-evo next gen.

Although, Emolga is completely useless without an evo. Basculin is almost the same way, although I'm surprised at how good its stats are.
 
Stunfisk should totally have a branched evolution. :>
Yanakkie, Boakkie, Hiyakkie, Tabunne, Emonga and Lepardas needs an evo too. They suck. :v
 
sawk and throh could've come from the same baby pokemon, and basculin could've used an evolution. It's kind of a filler as is
 
I still don't understand why Emolga does not have an evolution.
 
Emolga needs an evolution just as badly as Pachirisu did back in 4th gen. It's not worth even trying to use as-is which is a shame since its typing is pretty good.

Liepard needs a third stage as well. As a cat person, I'm tired of Game Freak giving the cat Pokemon worse treatment than the dog Pokemon.
 
I don't think Basculin needs an evo. I mean, it has the same exact BST as Sharpedo and it's so good in-game. (Take this from me, I tried it, and it's way too good.)

I suppose Stunfisk could use an evolution. I happily used it until the E4 because it's pretty cute but I'll admit it's not that good. I just want the evo to be as cute.
 
Here are all of the Pokemon that I think need evolutionary relatives:

Woobat/Swoobat: I think that either a) Swoobat should evolve into a cooler third form or b) Woobat should branch into Swoobat and a male only that looks like the fan art evolution that someone drew that looked really cool.

Audino: I think that Audino should get a baby and an evolution just because it should :P

Throh/Sawk: I think that they should get a pre-evo that links them together like Hitmonchan/Hitmonlee did.

Basculin: I think that each form should evolve into the same Pokemon, and the natures depend on the Basculin's nature that it evolved from.

Emolga: Emolga should get a nice, strong, evolution that makes use of the awesome typing. I know Zapdos has the same typing, but I don't like using legendaries d.d

Alomomola: Alomomola should get a pre-evo, even if it isn't Luvdisc.

Cryogonal: He should get a cute snowflake pre-evo that makes Cryogonal make more sense.

Stunfisk: I know Stunfisk is already amazing, but he needs an evo to make him even more amazing!
