4th Gen Importing Pokemon from GBA Games to Pear Version?

Hi boys and girls,

I bought Pokemon Pearl last week from ebay, but it needs time to arrive to my country. However, I read that it's possible to import Pokemon from GBA games to Pearl and Diamond, is it that true? Did anyone try?
I have LeafGreen version, and I'd like to import my Squirtle and Pikachu to Pearl version.

When I get the game, I want to chat, make friends and battle, and I might need a little help when I make my first attempt to go online.

Yes it is possible to import pokemon from GBA games to DS, when you complete your sinnoh pokedex. Also, the last few sentences...you can make friends here in the sub forums of D/P. Also, something's suspicious about this.

Information about importing Pokémon from GBA cartridges is in the FAQ.

If you want to make friends (which doesn't have to do with the title, by the way), you can post in the Battle/Trade forums when you have the game. You don't really need to make a thread to do it now.
