It took me five generations of breeding to get a staraptor like this. And even then, it's not quite as good as I would have liked. still, he's been good to me. Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
Staraptor "Talon"
Nature: Adamant
Personality: Proud of it's power.
Ability: Intimidate
Ivs:
HP: 25
Attack: 31
Def: 15
Special Attack: 9
Special Defense: 13
Speed: 25
Obviously can't take a hit, but it's high where I wanted it.
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Now for it's stats at level one hundred:
HP:293
Attack: 371
Defense: 156
Special Attack: 102
Special Defense: 129
Speed: 292
Hold Item: Fist Plate (Will be Choice Band as soon as I get it)
Moveset:
Brave Bird
Aerial Ace
Return
Close Combat (PP Uped to nine)
battle Experience: IN game, he whipes out most everything in one hit. if it's steel or Rock, Close COmbat does the trick. Return takes down everything else. I occasionally use Aerial Ace for super effective hits if Return is getting a tad low on PP. Brave Bird goes unused.
DS wifi battle, People fear my bird, though most don't hardcore train either. he usually whipes out most anything in one hit, like in in game.
on PBR, he still is a beast, though his attacks aren't all single hit kills anymore. he dies every so often, though usually he's good enough on his own, at least inteh lower ranks.
on PBR wifi, he's been best suited as a Dialga Slayer. everyone seems to like Dialga up there, so I'm fortunate I have such an easy answer for it. unfortunately in most other battle situations, the fact that he can't take a hit has come back to bite me. He's faster than most, but not all, and a pokemon that's faster is guaranteed victory, especially if it has something super effective.
