[Tool] In-game tradeing tool

    Hii everyone,
    So I started messing around with Generation 2 hacking tools (Crystal mostly)
    I'm kinda new to rom hacking and I don't think I'll be able to mess around with Hex editing or ASM yet.
    Is there a tool to change In-game Trading (as in pokemon trading, such as in Violet city where you trade a Bellsprout for an Onix)?
    Or a really in-depth tutorial about how to edit it in hex?

    Help would be much appreciated :) thanks in advance!
