The game is SoulSilver and I'm just before Pryce's gym.
Current team is Typholsion, Ampharos, Dragonair, Golem, and Noctowl. The idea is that the team is balanced for utility (beating the game and distributing HMs) as well as for battling against my RL friend after every gym.
Fortunately, I already know a bit about friend's team: Typholsion, Gyarados, Ampharos, Gengar, Onyx (maybe Steelix, don't know if they evolved it yet), and either a Scyther/Scizor or Togetic.
I'm looking for a Pokemon to fill Slot 6 that will give me the best advantage vs the RL friend.
