First off, you'll need the following tools:
    • Gimp 2.6.8
    • A pallet
    • An image
First, open your image in gimp.

Next, go to Windows > Dockable Dialogs > Pallets
    "image removed"
Click on the arrow in the upper right cornet, then click on pallets menu, then import pallet. PIC IS WRONG!
    "image removed"
    "image removed"

    Click the
"Pallet File" radio button, then click the button beside it.

Now navigate to the pallet, whether it be act, pal, whatever, then click open.
    "image removed"
Now click import, and close the pallet dialog.

Now go to Colors > Map > Set Colormap...
    "image removed"
Click on the button that says "Default." A pallet dialog will pop up.

Choose the color and close the dialog.

Nice Tutorial, but I think it would be better if you show us how to change the pallet of tiles with Gimp. Anyways good luck.

The problem with that is the image has to be indexed. Plus, the pallet would most likely screwed up that way. I'll do some research though.
