3rd Gen Internal Battery?!

I recently found my Sapphire game cartridge after misplacing it for a while. When I turn it on now it says: "The internal battery has run dry. The game can still be played, but time based events will not occur."

I didn't even know these things HAD an internal battery! :/ Anybody know how to fix this?

This could be the berry glitch. The way to fix that is here: https://serebii.net/pokemon_advance/berry.shtml
You can also trade or battle Pokemon with XD Gale of Darkness or Colosseum to fix it.

If neither of those work, then it's dead for good, sorry.
