iPhones detecting Pokemon Differently

Hello to all, I'm new here so please be patient.
My question is this, I'll explain the scenario. When I'm logged in to Pokemon Go on my iPhone 6 and I'm walking around with others my phone only seems to detect one Pokemon to their ten approx. I've done all the usual like restart the game, delete the game app and reinstall, log out log back in. Then I logged in using my wife's iPhone 6 and it worked just like everyone elses, detecting everything they have.
I have checked all the gps settings, access settings and everything but it doesn't seem to help.

What level are compared to your friends? The higher the level you can see slightly further

We are all different levels some lower some higher, when sitting around a lure they all detect exactly the same, they may detect 20 Pokemon I will detect 2. It was working fine until two days ago.
