    well.. always when i get to the elite for i get myself to "well.. its a bunch of 4 useless guys and then some one with a level 60 thinking he... well anyway.. i seem to get bored when i get to the elite 4, but i never get bored from playing the storyline over and over knowing it will always be the same.. it just.. raising your pokemon levels and then going to gyms and stuff is much better my preferable choice. i mean i beat the elite 4 b4... its kind of boring retrain to levels 50-60 to beat them and then what? a few sidemissions.. well here its done.. what now? oh its nice i have the battle frontier.. but i don't really bother with it anyway.. on crystal i seem to enjoy every secend of gameplay.. but when i get to the elite 4 i suddenly want to restart (knowing i will use the same pokemon, starter and moves. and way to complete the game.. as for leafgreen.. last two days i restarded with squirtle.. (took charmander last time) and man, its freakin huge! i completed the game in two days (i got to the elite four and then.. i get the "whats the point of it" mood. i mean, raising your pokemon for gyms and then face others is much more fun.. i like more raising the levels, but on other games (mystery dungeon for example, its good storyline and fun game.. BUT! i hate to train there. i mean, training in the core games to other games really differ (this is also in collosseum)

    it is only me who gets bored when you get to the elite 4 and then suddenly restart?

    I get to the E4, want to restart, and don't ^^
    I have all my good Pokes on Platinum, and wouldn't wanna restart on that
    I was like that with Diamond for the longest time though, and Fire Red when I got to Silph :/

    i don't really care since i play on a emulator and if i want to keep a save i just use a savestate (i have an emerald savestate from two years ago that i dont even use now o.o

    Hahaha, that's funny..

    I usually get to the Elite 4, and then my game sits there collecting dust for months.. >__>;

    The Elite 4 is always the same thing, over and over again, much like the rest of the game.. however, at least the games change storylines. It's not that I couldn't beat the Elite 4 with some training, I've done it before.. it's just not that exciting for me.

    -flails- ME!

    :/ It really does just seem kinda boring when you get to the Elite Four. I normally end up restarting once I get that far.

    I have only restart a Pokemon game once, Leafgreen, to try to get Squirtle in my dex, as my sister was the only person with Firered I knew and she chose Bulbasaur. I will never do it again, even if I thought the E4 were easy.

    I got firered for christmas two years ago and I played non stop till i got to the elite four. then I stopped playing and only recently completed firered.

    I really dont get bored, its right after I finished the Elite 4 is when I train and do every other task, then let my game collect dust because I know those Pokemon that I've used are going to be needed for the next game

    I usually over train before getting to the E4. So all my guys will be mid 50's. I hae to beat the E4. If I don't I feel like a failure lol. After you do beat them though I do get bored. So now I've been playing all my old games, and once I beat it I just send them over through pal park (FR version). I'm going to try and beat FR using every single poke of the 151 so I'll have some what EV trained pokes from the whole first gen. I have it done with almost 100+

    after i win the E4 i reset my game with the different type of starter like if i start with a grass then change to a fire to see the different after that on gold or silver i just breed my pokemon for trade and help my friends out

    actually ive got about 420 some hours on my pearl LMAO
    and i really havent got bored yet, its really all in how you look at it

    I have a problem with myself with restarting the game after the elite four... I just worry too much about the Pokemon I'm training. So I just keep training without restarting the game...
