[Eventing Question] Is it possible to edit the event id?

    I'm making a follower event in my game and on the wiki it says if you have the partner trainer go with you on a different map then you should create an event on the new map with the same event Id. But it seems like I can only edit the name of the event not the actual id number. How do I do that?
     
    I have had that problem before. What I did was found the event on the map with the number I needed to use, cut it, made a blank event somewhere else, then pasted the cut event back where it was. The blank event then has the right id number and can be edited as necessary. The RPG maker automatically assigns the lowest free id to map events. Hope this helps.
