3rd Gen Is Mew Untameable?

I started a new game and picked Torchic. I wanted to train torchic past lv.10 in that area so I turned on an all wild pokemon are lv.10 and mew cheat cuz I thought he would be good exp. I fought him but he almost killed me. I couldnt possibly win and he was faster but had low life so I threw a pokeball and caught him. In the first gym battle my Combusken almost died so I used lv.10 Mew and all he did was loaf around. I continued without using him and then got the second badge. It said that I would be able to control lv.30 pokemon but Mew still doesnt listen to me. Is Mew untameable?

Ah,I have heard of this before.

What you will need is a obey code for Mew and all other Ubers.

Im pretty sure the codes are easy to find Google them or www.codejunkies.com should have them.
