Is PBR region locked?

i want to buy PBR in europe (where i live) but i have an imported american pearl.
i know that a japanese pearl wont connect to PBR but is it the same for america?
if so what can i do about it because i dont really wanna get a freeloader disc or anything.

American Diamond and Pearl games connect with European Battle Revolution. Simple.

My Diamond is American and connects fine with my European Battle Rev so you'll be fine.
