Is the key to Pokemon Go the Pokemon's backstory?

    So.....I've been thinking.

Since the release of Gen 2 there has been a mad rush to get that larvitar or perhaps a girafarig! I have a few Pokemon missing from my pokedex and I was wondering where they could be? I know there is plenty of tracking systems available on the interweb, however I had a thought. What sprung to mind is the Pokemons original back story. Wouldn't it be awesome if Niantic had placed the Pokemon in locations that match their story of inception?

So for example, the larvitar's story is that it is born deep underground, far from its parent. It consumes a mountains worth of soil before evolving into its pupal stage. So maybe then larvitar is found near mountains or hills?

This is just a thought and it's all speculation. But I think it would be cool for Niantic to include it. To some extent they have with the eevee evolutions, but I think why not do it for all of the Pokemon? It would involve research and in my opinion give the game some depth. What do you think?
